The Hampstead American Legion Post 167 held a ceremony to install 19 new members into the Post. The officers provided the membership and new Legionnaires with a most impressive installation ceremony that can only be provided by trained Legionnaires, instructed for this type of occasion.

The Post also has a ceremony that is known as the "Go-Getter" pinning. The leading members are recognized each year and this honor was presented at the monthly meeting.

The Post was quite honored to be advised that one of our own Legion Comrades has been honored by the United States American Legion for Senior Membership in the American Legion by being a member for 60 years.

Along with this announcement came the official notice and a Certificate indication for 60 years of continual membership.

"Go-Getter Pins" for Arne Haufmann, (100 new members), "Century Club Shield’; Alfred "Al Sidbury, (30 new members), "Silver Star with Wreath"; John McGarry, (20 new members), "Gold Star"; Homer Davis, (10 new members), "Silver Star" and Post Commander Bill White, Colonel Retired, USMC, who made the presentation.

Legion Post 167 Commander Bill White, Colonel, USMC Retired, is presenting to Legionnaire Arthur "Art" Kutz his Certificate of 60 years as a Legionnaire.
