Life really is a beach! Back in the early 80’s Jean and her late daughter Karen, recorded 63 nests in the North Topsail Beach area. Sixty three! Well, they are now grown up and are coming back to nest.

Jersey the sea turtle is so happy! She is well enough to go back to her ocean home! The Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Rescue and Rehabilitation is alive and full of activities. The hospital is scheduled to open soon to the public.
Sea turtle nests will begin to start sprouting up so keep your eyes open!
