Welcome to the family of Tom and Niki Miller along with their original and eclectic stores.  From a modest beginning in Upstate NY, DDT Outlet has expanded to two major locations in North Carolina, a sister store in Virginia, an initial franchise in New York, and yet another store in South Carolina.

Each store has a few common threads, such as being family-run and the belief that customer service is number one from start to finish. But each location is truly unique.

The original store in Hampstead, at 21740 Highway 17, is a favorite stop from Emerald Isle Beach to Topsail Island.  Locals and second homeowners know it’s the place to furnish any abode in coastal style.  For any room in your home to your own private backyard paradise, DDT has you covered.

In 1999, daughter Kathleen, and husband Josh decided they too wanted to be a part of the family business, so they began Out of the Box outside Charlottesville, Virginia.  While some of the offerings are a little more traditional, the outlet still has that unique DDT flair and outstanding customer service.  All products available in Virginia are of course accessible to all other family operated stores through the internet.  This enables all customers to shop for many styles of furniture, whether they live at the coast, the mountains, or the city.

Over the last ten years a number of people have suggested Tom open stores in a variety of locations, including franchising options.  This seed grew until the right opportunity opened up.  Long-time friends of the Miller family from New York were ready for a new venture and opened up the first franchise on Long Island at Islip Terrace. This location became the second Out of the Box outlet, also striving for outstanding customer service and product dependability, with a mixture of furniture styles.

The latest venture is “B & B Antiques in North Myrtle Beach. “It just kind of happened,” says Tom.

The distinctive 50,000 square feet purple building at 1615 Highway 17 South  houses a complete antique mall with more than fifty vendors, along with home furnishings, artwork, furniture, and a store full of many other surprises, including a dozen varieties of homemade fudge.  You can even call 1-843-361-0101 to get the latest on new arrivals.
