Holiday Give-Away Drawing Near For Local Author

Good friends, friends of friends, acquaintances and other members of the "Bergman Posse,"
If you have not acquired a copy of my book, "Save Them All" or need another one for gift giving time, NOW is a great time to get one. My "Holiday Give-Away Drawing" is in full swing and will end on November 20, 2007. I want every one I care about and those they care about to have the opportunity to get in on the action. I've enclosed a picture of the basket up for grabs. The odds of winning are much better than powerball, our state lottery or even a scratch off card!!! If your name is drawn, keep it all for yourself or scratch off a few "to buy fors" on your Christmas list.

If you embrace our country's natural resources, love animals, foster enduring friendships, and appreciate a touch of mystery with a moderate, side-portion of romance, you'll enjoy this character driven read inspired by true events.
An alluring and romantic read, “Save Them All”, is about pushing yourself to live strong despite tragic loss, coming to know who you really are and recognizing what is most important in your life.
The adventure begins when a questionable accident claims the lives of Colbi West's parents, and she blames her family's opulent lifestyle for the tragedy. Angered by unnecessary risks money can buy, she sets aside a promising law career and leaves Michigan to outrun emotional pain. When the road east ends at the ocean in North Carolina she meets two women who encourage her to stay in Locus Point and open a wildlife rehabilitation shelter.
Although ignorant of the field, gentle prodding and Colbi's notion that living in the south on modest means will provide a simpler life far removed from the chaotic legal system and affluent lifestyle she and her family shared, persuade her to stay. Her new life in the sleepy coastal town becomes problematic when value systems collide, and she realizes more needs saving than pelicans and opossums. Faced with unexpected and distressing complications, her tendency to run again is caged by a promise made she will not break, even if it means going to jail.
