Surf City here we come .  .  .

Surf City Parks & Recreation was busy with fun activities this year.  From the Community Center to our beautiful parks and beaches, Surf City was THE place to be.  The grandest of these events included a Women’s Expo, Easter Egg Hunt, concerts, movies, the Independence Day Celebration, Summer Camp, plus a variety of recreational classes. 

We featured Ballroom Dance classes with instructor Davis Canady and music classes with instructor Steve Toll.  Upcoming will be a new instructor, Amy Pike, who will be teaching clogging, tap, and ballet, so check out the schedule and sign up to learn something new or brush up on some skills you haven’t used in a while.We also have a fall basketball league so come out on Monday or Wednesday nights at seven and enjoy!  There’s something for everyone at the Community Center—from spectators to players—so come on and see what’s new.
